Kernik assists researchers to document and organize spatial data submitted to the Data Repository for the University of Minnesota (DRUM). She provides classroom support and consultations for spatial digital humanities topics in partnership with U-spatial. She’s also part of the Big Ten Academic Alliance Geospatial Data Project, a multi-institution collaboration improving access to scanned historical maps and geospatial data resources.
