Genevieve Milliken

Genevieve Milliken holds a BA in Visual Art and an MA in the History of Art and Design from Georgia State University, as well as an MSLIS and a Digital Humanities certificate from Pratt Institute in New York City. She previously served as the Data Services Librarian at NYU Langone Health Sciences Library, where she provided consultations, built cross-campus partnerships, and led numerous workshops on data management and data science. In addition, she has worked as a Carpentries Instructor, a Content Expert for the National Library of Medicine’s National Center for Data Services (NCDS), and a co-investigator on multiple grants. She is now the Data Librarian at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where she teaches technical workshops and supports data discovery and research data management.
